Research Interviewer I

Pacific Northwest Diabetes Research Institute is seeking a motivated, energetic part-time or full-time Research Interviewer I responsible for reporting results to research study participants, recruiting participants for further research tests via the telephone and in person at area hospitals, and assisting with participant follow-up and retention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct study interviews both in person and via the telephone.
• Recruit and inform study participants of study requirements.
• Administer informed consent and study questionnaires.
• Work with staff to develop and update procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in the social or life sciences preferred.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Ability to read scientific documents and communicate effectively with study participants.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Valid Washington State driver's license and access to vehicle
